J2 Technology Ltd is a company registered in England under company number 10846540.  Our registered office is 22-28 Willow Street, Accrington, Lancashire, BB5 1LP.  We are the data controller for your personal data.

What personal data do we collect and how do we collect it?

The personal data we collect from you will vary depending on your relationship with us and the service that we provide to you.  You will provide some of this data directly when you enquire about a service, become a customer, or join our mailing list.

We may also be provided with your personal data by a third party that you have a contract with, and outsources specific services to us.  This does not affect your individual rights under the GDPR.

The personal data we collect may include but is not limited to, the following;

How do we share your personal data?

The use of your personal data for any purposes described within this policy, may involve sharing it with trusted third parties to assist us in providing a service.

Certain third parties may include organisations outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), but who will be required to comply with the GDPR so that the protection of individuals is not undermined.  Where we use third parties based in the US, they will be part of the Privacy Shield, which requires them to provide similar protection to personal data shared between the EU and the US.

  • Object – you have the right to object to receiving direct marketing from us even if we believe we have a legitimate interest to communicate with you in this way.  Where you have given consent you may withdraw this at any time

If you have concerns or would like to make a complaint about the way we have handled your personal data, please contact us at privacy@j2-technology.com and we will investigate the matter.  You also have the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues.

We will respond to all legitimate requests with one month.  We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights).  We may contact you to ask for further information in regard to your request to aid us deal with your request appropriately.

A cookie is a small file that is placed on your device as you browse a website.  We use cookies to track how you use our website, and to analyse web traffic in order for us to improve the site.  The cookies we use do not record personally identifiable information about you.
